Hello I’m Freerk, I am very happy to chair this last session of this year’s symposium, but before we start with the presentation I first want to tell you about a strange dream I had last night that has been haunting me the whole day and the for the last few years, maybe even longer.

Wieder falsch im Internet abgebogen, aber es ist so verlockend, in den Pausen den Kopf hinter Türen mit Aufschriften zu stecken, die ich nicht verstehe. Hinter dieser geht es um „online visual culture across violence and cuteness, militarism and kawaii aesthetics, gun waifus and ideological crisis„, was vor allem TikTok Videos tanzender kurdischer Freiheitskämpferinnen oder Selfies von stark geschminkten Mitgliedern der israelischen Armee mit Katzenohren meint. Animefiguren in Schuluniform mit Kriegswaffen und Fotos von pinken Maschinenpistolen mit Hello Kitty Stickern. Und dann ist die Pause wieder rum und ich mache die Tür wieder zu.

THREE WAYS I MAKE MONEY steht in dem Video, bei dem ich gelandet bin. ART, YOGA und CONTENT ist die Auflösung Losung für ein erfolgreiches Gesamtkunstwerk mit Reichweite für Selbstbild (YOGA), die Bilder, die dieser Körper schafft (ART) und die, die in der Welt dazu bestimmt werden (CONTENT).

Was ist der gefährlichste Ort, an dem man sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Pandemie aufhalten kann? Genau: in einem Kreuzberger Kindercafé. Dass es auch der lauteste ist, kann ich natürlich nicht beweisen, aber ich schiebe die Kopfschmerzen lieber darauf, als auf das Virus.

Statt „Wie geht’s?“, „Was steht heute an?“, „Wie war dein Tag?“, oder „Und sonst so?“, fragen wir wie beim Artbesuch in der Seniorenwohngruppe nur noch nach Symptome (oder dem Wetter).
